Text Box: 	The Chippewa SWCD participates in the State of Minnesota’s Cost-share Program.  The SWCD Technicians work with local landowners to identify and solve their resource problems by offering landowners 75% cost-share funding to establish sound conservation practices that eliminate, or greatly reduce, an erosion or water quality problem.
	In an effort to comply with the State’s requirements of providing detailed information regarding the expenditure and outcomes of grant funds as well as ensuring accountability, transparency in the expenditure of state funds, and provide the public with information about the grants that we receive; below are the various grants listed by Fiscal Year in which they were received:

Grassed Waterway    is designed and installed to help control water erosion in the landowner’s field.

Field Windbreak     is designed and planted to slow down the wind to prevent topsoil from blowing away.

 A   Grassed Back-sloped Terrace   is surveyed, designed, and constructed to break the slope of the field to control water erosion.
